Freelance-Animation.com is run by Richard Cheek, an award winning digital artist and animator who has been producing computer animation and artwork since 1986.

Getting his start in the gaming industry, Richard worked for a number of game development companies, receiving a 100 percent graphics review for one game and high 90's for most others. After this Richard formed his own company called CTA Developments, and successfully produced various games for Ocean Software in the UK. One of these games was produced in conjunction with England's Comic Relief charity and raised nearly one million pounds (about 1.5 million dollars) for the charity.

A few years later Richard left England and moved to the U.S. where he worked on various projects from computer games to TV and DVD movies. In 2001 he won a Telly Award for a 3D animated TV commercial "Ernie the Enzyme" (see the gallery section) and in 2003 joined Infinityward where he worked on the highly succesfull game franchise, Call of Duty.

More recently Richard has moved to the East coast and has been working on various projects including computer games, TV commercials and shows for the Natural History Museum in New York.
